Drainage & Regrading Solutions
Standing water, soggy lawns, and washed-out drive lanes don’t fix themselves. RLP Diversified combines excavation + grading to correct drainage at the source—shaping ground so water flows away from structures, drives, and low spots using proper regrading, swales, and tie-ins.
Problems We Solve
- Pooling near the house/garage after rain
- Low spots that stay wet for days
- Washouts along gravel drives, pads, and paths
- Negative slope toward foundations or doors
- Uneven transitions where water collects at edges/tie-ins
If a “top-off” of material keeps failing, the grade is the problem. We reshape, not just resurface.

What We Do (No guesswork)
- Regrading & shaping — restore positive fall/crown so water sheds correctly
- Swales & shallow channels — route runoff to safe discharge points
- Tie-ins & transitions — smooth, water-smart connections at drives, pads, and aprons
- Base corrections for drives/pads — repair soft areas before resurfacing
- Finish grade — stable, compacted surfaces ready for the next phase

Our Process (Simple & Transparent)
Site Walk & Levels: We review slopes, soils, drainage paths, and access.
Plan & Quote: Clear line items: cuts/fills, target slopes, material movements, finish expectations.
Mobilize & Shape: Right-sized equipment for tight access; compact in lifts where needed.
Tie-ins & Finish: Transitions at drives/pads/edges; confirm water movement with test flow.
Closeout: Edges dressed; area ready for use or next trade.

Where Drainage & Regrading Help Most
- Perimeter grades around homes, shops, and additions
- Drive lanes & approaches that rut or wash out
- Back/side yards that never dry
- New builds needing final grading before landscaping
- Shop/RV pads where water must stay off the surface
Materials & Finish
We work with on-site soils and bring in material only when the design calls for it. For drive lanes and pads, we’ll coordinate with our Aggregate & Trucking team to deliver topsoil, sand, gravel, or limestone when specified.
- Topsoil — for finished landscape areas
- Crushed limestone or graded gravel — for durable drive lanes/pads
- Compaction — done in lifts for stability and long-term performance
Permits & Coordination
Typical regrading does not require a permit; certain scopes (e.g., work near regulated shorelines) may need approvals. We’ll advise during scoping if coordination with local authorities is appropriate.
Service Area
